VENEZIA: UN SOGNO SULL’ACQUA

“Mio caro amico, qualunque cosa al mondo tu abbia udito su Venezia, nessuna uguaglia la magnificenza e lo splendore della realtà”.

(Charles Dickens)

Our tourist accommodation is a great starting point for visiting Venice and there are many ways to get there from our property.
The access contribution will be in effect starting in April 2024. For more information, visit the website: https://cda.veneziaunica.it

HOW TO REACH VENICE BY BUS

The “Dolo – Bandiera” stop on line no. 53 (AVM-ACTV company) is located just 100 m from the accommodation. The bus runs approximately every half hour. The first bus to Venice is at 4:00 a.m., the last to return at midnight from Piazzale Roma. (Ticket cost – Dolo Venezia, route 5 – is approximately € 8.00 W/R per person).

For a complete visit to the city, you can purchase the special ticket “Riviera del Brenta pass”: it allows you to make a round trip on the extra-urban line 53 (route 6 – Fiesso-Strà-Mestre-Venice), and includes the 24-hour day navigation ticket (Venice and the Lagoon Islands). Also valid on People Mover and Trenitalia (price € 33.00 per person)

Tickets are available at the accommodation upon prior request.

HOW TO REACH VENICE BY TRAIN
Guests must drive to the nearby Mira – Mirano station, about 5 km away, and from there take the train to Venice. The first train leaves at around 5:00 AM, while the last train back from Venice is at 11:50 PM. Buses run approximately every half hour.
HOW TO REACH VENICE BY BOAT

You must reach the nearby town of Fusina, which is about 15 km away, and board the Terminal Fusina vaporetto; the timetables are available at the following link https://www.terminalfusina.it/it/navigazione/linee#linea-fusina-venezia-zattere

During the summer, the company also operates a navigation service to the island of Lido di Venezia, home of the prestigious Venice Film Festival.

HOW TO GET TO VENICE BY CAR
For greater convenience, it is also possible to go to Venice by car. There are several options for parking the vehicle: Parking in Piazzale Roma: It is also possible to park at the Maritime Station (Park 280) or at Tronchetto and from there reach Piazzale Roma by funicular: the “People Mover” or by vaporetto. The People Mover ticket is included in the Pass Riviera del Brenta (see bus section).
Parking outside Venice

You can park just outside Venice, in Mestre and from here take the bus or tram. The recommended parking lots are San Giuliano, Green Park, Petroli Park or Terminal car park.

Tip: For those who don’t particularly like getting around by car, the best solution is definitely the bus or the train. For those who prefer maximum comfort I recommend the car up to Piazzale Roma.
