Dolo is the heart of the Riviera del Brenta, a true architectural and landscape jewel set on the waters of the Brenta River. It is the ideal place to stay and an excellent starting point for visiting Venice, Padua and the major tourist attractions of the Veneto. Visitors can spend the evening in the charming historic center, walking between the old mill, the Dolo locks – immortalized in a work by Canaletto from 1728 now kept in Oxford, in the Ashmolean Museum – and the ancient squero where the craftsmen of the past repaired boats. Here they can appreciate the life of the village and enjoy a good dinner, accompanied by a good glass of wine, in one of the many restaurants in the center.

The town of Dolo is also easily reachable on foot or by bicycle along the cycle path that runs inside the main road. Alternatively, you can take the bus, whose stop is just 100 m from the house.
